As your State Representative for the last 44 years, it has been an honor and a privilege to help bring forth the needs and desires of the people of Yalobusha County and make a positive influence in your quality of life. I always tried to do my best to listen and act on citizens' needs.
While I will no longer be representing you in the Legislature, my work is not yet done.
As the next Mayor of Water Valley, I will bring a tireless work ethic to improving our city and the quality of life for ALL of our citizens. There’s no limit to the positive change we can create for our town and our citizens when we work TOGETHER.
A RECORD OF SUCCESS
Working on behalf of Water Valley and its citizens, in the last two years, I helped to bring in $1.25 million for our Water Valley Electric Department and for broadband service expansion; $475,000 for repairs and much needed renovation of the Water Valley Civic Center and $100,000 for our Water Valley/Yalobusha County Industrial Park.
I am proud of helping to secure funding for the infrastructure improvements which have helped to make possible the location of Ajinomoto Windsor Foods in Oakland and the 400 jobs for the 15 years it has provided for our County. I never and will never back away from trying to meet the need of providing jobs for our people.

I believe this is such an important moment in the life of our town.
We have a chance to improve our schools, create jobs for our citizens, reinvest in our infrastructure, provide better parks and activities for our kids, and come together as a community where everyone enjoys the benefits and blessings of a prosperous inclusive future here in Water Valley.
We can and we must seize this opportunity!
